Tom possesses deep cloud business development experience as well as the ability to articulate the impact of technical strategies, transformations, and migrations on real world business considerations with authority and in relatable terms for non-technical audiences.  

His business insights and technical qualifications have proven invaluable to customers ranging from Fortune 500 commercial enterprises to large public sector customers. He has held numerous technical certifications including both the prestigious AWS Solutions Architect Professional and Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect. 

He is now an internationally recognized Chief Growth Officer in the field of Cloud Computing and holder of a US O1 visa classification, “Individual of Extraordinary Ability”.   

Tom Spalding’s influence has played and continues to play a major role in Effectual’s exceptionally fast growth. To date, he has helped guide the company from it’s inception to tens of millions in revenue per annum. He represents Effectual at multiple speaking engagements and industry events, with companies such as Amazon, VMware and global industry analysts.

Tom continues to work on internal alignment as it applies to targeted revenue growth, external market dynamics, customer needs and preferences, and buyer behavior.  

During his career, Tom has brokered technology partnerships, identified and brokered Merger & Acquisition processes, run enterprise consultancy sales engagements, and has worked across Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Software as a Service, Media and Entertainment and Professional Services verticals.
